A recent redesign by this tech-stock pioneer makes a great site better. Message boards are
still the main draw and now easier to look at, negotiate, and manage. But SI has added
portfolio management and charting tools, as well as well-stocked news feed. (The portfolio
stuff comes from the now-defunct Stock Site). Another addition is paid advertising which
has some members griping. Posting to boards is $59.95 for first six months, $9.95 a month
after that. Reading the boards and most other features are free.
